June 27, 2019 Chestnut Pinto Gelding Great Great Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: Don Leonard Stud II Dam: WH Wildfire Misty's After the Storm's Pedigree Misty's After the Storm, Tide for short, is the second Misty descendant born into the feral herd on Assateague. He was sold at the auction for $3,500. Tide was sold to Alexandra Cooper, a Feather Fund pony award recipient. Tide was too young to leave his dam in July so he stayed on the island until October when he went home to Florida with Alexandra. He lives with his "big brother" Charlie, a Gypsy Vanner.
