2008 Chestnut Chincoteague Pony Mare
Crack O' Dawn, nickname Crackers, is a chestnut Chincoteague Pony mare. She was born on Assateague and was sold at the auction. Crackers is a daughter of the late Rainbow Warrior and Cloudburst. She has a half sister Chili that still lives feral on Assateague. Her auction buyer Charlotte named her Rain's End. Charlotte unforunately had to sell her, but Crackers remained in Kentucky and she became a sucessful hunter/jumper. Around 2014 she was a supply mount for an international sporting event held in Kentucky. The Kelly family of Misty's Heritage Chincoteague Ponies bought Crackers in 2016. With their stallion at the time Misty's Stormy Eclipse she is the dam of 2017 chestnut gelding Misty's Heritage Tsunami Surf, 2019 chestnut filly Misty's Luna Mist, 2020 chestnut filly Misty's Heritage Morning Dawn, and 2021 chestnut colt Misty's Heritage Turn of the Tide.
