Firestorm is Partly Cloudy's fifth foal and second daughter. She got her name from her firey red chestnut coat. She greatly resembles her older sister Desert Sun. Firestorm and Partly Cloudy could be seen at the Blue Heron on Chincoteague during summer 2010. Firestorm unfortunately succumbed to colic prior to her first birthday.
