Brown Pinto Chincoteague Pony Mare
Denim and Diamonds, better known as Gracie, is a brown pinto mare owned by Lisa Christian of Cool Winds Ranch in Texas. Gracie was bred by the Burton family on Chincoteague. Her full brother is prolific sire Tuffer Than Leather. Misty II's Henry was bred to Gracie resulting in the bay pinto gelding Misty's High Tide, foaled in 2005. Gracie's second foal by Henry was Misty's Icy Margurita, a chestnut pinto filly foaled in 2006. In 2012 she had a bay pinto filly by Misty's Flash Flood named Misty's Flashy Claire. Gracie has had other non Misty family foals including The Dutchess of Lightning, who was a reiner.
