2001-2013 Black Pinto Chincoteague Pony Stallion
Island King was a black pinto Chincoteague stallion. He was owned by the Hagquist family of Rocking H Ranch for most of his life. While with the Hagquist's he sired many non-Misty Chincoteague foals. His Misty family offspring are 2007 black mare Misty's Midnight Moon and 2010 smoky black pinto gelding Misty's Lunar Eclipse both out of Misty Moon Dancer. He has also sired a short lived black pinto filly out of Misty's Cloudbursts. He was leased by Mike Pryor for a year and in 2011 he sired bay mare Pryor's Island Breeze out of Pryor's Sea Breeze and black pinto stallion Knightmist out of Seamist. Island King was then leased to another farm where he sired a couple of non-Misty foals before passing away in 2013.
