Little Beebe
Little Beebe is a solid buckskin mare, the first non Misty family Chincoteague Pony that Kendy Allen ever bought. She and Maureen Beebe went in "halfies" for her at the 1991 auction, and because of this, she earned the name "Little Beebe". She went to live on the Allens' farm in Manheim, Pennsylvania, and there she was raised and trained under saddle. She was later sold to Andrienne Zimmerman, who was a member of the Chincoteague Drill Team, and Little Beebe soon became part of that, as well as competing in horse shows, and placed consistently in the ribbons.
When Andrienne became too big for Little Beebe, Kendy Allen sold the mare for her, along with her stallion, Lightning of Chincoteague, to Lisa Coolidge of Cool Winds Ranch in Texas, who was interested in starting her own Chincoteague herd. Little Beebe was in foal to a stallion named Cezanne when she left, and in 2000, she had her first foal, a solid bay filly named Hailey. Little Beebe was soon bred again, and had her first son named Scorpio. In 2003, she had another filly by name of Belle, who was later sold to a young girl.
Little Beebe finally made her way into the Misty legacy by being bred to Misty II's Henry in 2004. The following year, she gave birth to a beautiful palomino pinto colt named Misty's Flash Flood, who bore quite a resemblance to the original Misty. In March 2007, Little Beebe produced a very special palomino pinto filly, also sired by Henry, who was given the name Misty III.
