Misty Moon Dancer's Pedigree

Misty Moon Dancer, or "Moon" as she is better known as, was the first foal sired by SunDancer. Her dam was a buckskin pinto mare named Sweet Breeze. Moon stands 13.3 hands. She was born and raised on Luanne Stone's farm in Arkansas, and was later sold to Jennifer Lowe and her daughter, Cassie. They trained Moon under saddle and taught her to jump. They also bred her to their Friesian stallion, Henrik the Magician, and in 2005, Moon had her first foal, a colt named Henrik's Shadow Dancer. Moon appeared in Lois Szymanski's book Out of the Sea: Today's Chincoteague Pony.

After Shadow Dancer was weaned from Moon, the mare was then sold to Jennifer Hagquist. Moon had her second foal May 13, 2007, a solid black filly named Midnight Moon sired by Island King. She had her third foal on May 19, 2010 a black pinto colt also sired by Island King.
