2006 Chestnut Pinto Gelding Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: Nightmist Dam: Sea Storm Rainstorm's Pedigree Misty's Rainstorm is a chestnut pinto stallion from Nightmist's 2006 crop. He has one blue eye. Rainstorm was sold to a family in Indiana for a brief period and then was purchased by the Hagquist family of New York and added to their herd of Chincoteague Ponies. Rainstorm was trained to ride but initally was mainly used as a stallion. In 2010 he sired black pinto mare Misty's Ice Princess out of Island Princess, black pinto colt Misty's Island Dusk out of Island Dawn, and bay pinto stallion Misty's Summer Rainstorm out of Island Jazz. He sired black pinto colt Misty's Mid-Knight Blizzard out of Cloudy Day In Paradise and chestnut pinto mare Misty's Dreaming of Chincoteague out of Shianne's Lucky Halo in 2011. Rainstorm sired full siblings the black pinto mares Misty's Absolute Zero in 2011 and Misty's Lightning Flash in 2013, both out of Island Princess. Chestnut pinto colt Misty's Ice Storm out of Island Pairadice was born in 2014. Rainstorm was sold to Ashlyn Congdon in 2013 and moved to Indiana to stand at stud and become a hunter pony.
