May 24, 2009 Black Pinto Colt Great Great Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: Tuffer Than Leather Dam: Misty's Desert Sun Smoke N Mist's Pedigree Misty's Smoke N Mist, nicknamed Smoke, was Misty's Desert Sun's fourth and last foal. He is the only one of her foals that is not chestnut as he inherited his sire's black pinto coat. Smoke and his dam spent summer 2009 at the Chincoteague Pony Centre. He was pictured alongside his dam and eight other Misty family members in the book Horses in Living Color by Barbara Livingston. Smoke was the only foal in the picture.
