2017 Chestnut Mare Great Great Great Great Granddaughter of Misty Sire: WH Salt Marsh Dam: WH Sundance WH Surf and Sun's Pedigree WH Surf and Sun, better known as Surfette, is a dark chestnut mare living feral on Assateague Island. She was bred by the Beach family of Walnut Hill in Avondale, Pennsylvania. Surfette was donated to the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company in 2018, alongside her dam. She greatly resembles her sire's dam Surfer Dude's Gidget. Surfette had her first foal in 2021; chestnut pinto filly sired by Ajax. Her second foal is another chestnut pinto filly sired by Ajax.
