2014 Dark Chestnut Chincoteague Pony Stallion
WH Salt Marsh, nicknamed Marshel, was born on Assateague and his parents still live feral on Assateague. He was sold for $2,000 to Jim Beach of Walnut Hill in Avondale, Pennsylvania. WH Salt Marsh is the sire of 2017 dark chestnut mare WH Surf and Sun, better known as Surfette, out of WH Sundance. WH Surf and Sun is living feral on Assateague. Marshel has sired other foals. He was loaned to the Leonard family on Chincoteague in 2023.
