Misty registering for the 1950 American Library Association convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She and Marguerite attended several events at the convention. Misty was the only equine member of the ALA. The story of this appearance is written about in A Pictorial Life Story of Misty.

Misty II and Misty II's Henry on the cover of the program for Equitana 1998. Henry was a little over a month old when they went to Equitana. Today, Henry is the last living great grandfoal of Misty and lives the retired life at Kerkaken Acres.

For part of 1997 all Breyers were painted with two colored bi-eyes. These "snake eyes" were not well received and were discontinued. Here's a bi-eyed Misty.
