This telegram was sent to the Allen family after PC's birth in May 1992. She's pictured as a foal with her dam Misty's Wind Spirit. Partly Cloudy lived up to this honor with a long eventful life of a show pony, children's pony, member of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team, 6 foals continuing the line of Foggy Mist, surviving EPM, and passing away at age 30. She isn't a Misty descendant but she's the mother and grandmother of descendants! Her son Legacy's Island Renegade and her granddaughter Neveah are sired by Misty's Summer Rainstorm. We have a section of our website for ponies like Pearl that have contributed to the Misty bloodline by producing descendants even if they aren't ones themselves. After her years at the Chincoteague Miniature Pony Farm she became a winning show pony and was a founding member of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team. She returned to Chincoteague many times and spent several summers at the Chincoteague Pony Center. Her granddaugher Misty's SnowDrop can be seen at today's Pony Centre. Rainbow had six foals to carry on her legacy and she passed away at age 31.
