Lightning of Chincoteague

This handsome stallion had quite an influence on Misty family, but he wasn't one himself. Lightning of Chincoteague was born on Assateague in 1988 an was purchased by the Allen family to be their herd sire. You can see how he got his name by the slash of white on his side! Lightning sired many foals out of Misty descendant mares and non Misty mares. His most famous foal is the last living greatgrandfoal of Misty, Misty II's Henry. He died in 2012 and has many living descendants today.
