Misty the Wonder Pony

Production:  early 1960s.
Palomino.

Rubber squeeze toys produced with a line of toys as a tie in to the book Misty the Wonder Pony. Two sizes were released, 7 1/2 inch and 5 1/2 inch. The first model horses produced of Misty.

Franklin Mint

Misty of Chincoteague
Production: 1988.
Palomino/Chestnut pinto.

Porcelain Misty produced by the Franklin Mint. Sculpted by Pamela du Boulay. The model's markings closely match the real Misty. The color of most is darker and closer to chestnut than palomino.
