Chincoteague Random Tantrum, nicknamed Randy, is a son of Wild Bill and Dreamcatcher born on Assateague in 2007. His full brother Iktomi is a champion driving pony. Randy sold at the Pony Penning auction for $1,000 and is owned by the Shubert family. He remained a stallion for a few years and sired Misty's Dewdrop out of Misty's Snowdrop. Randy was then gelded and is trained to ride.
Randy returned to the islands in summer 2025 when his family took over management of the Chincoteague Pony Centre. He was part of the pony show, gave pony rides, and greeted visitor's in the front paddocks. Randy lives alongside his daughter Misty's Dewdrop and his son Midnight Sky.
