Assateague's Spirited Lady, Lady for short, was born on Assateague in 2019. She was a late born foal in September. Lady is sired by Ajax and her dam is Courtney's Island Dove. She was sold to Lisa Saben via sealed bid auction and moved to the west coast. After a couple years Lisa found a home for her in Washington State where she was very well trained to be a kid's pony. Lady then moved to Wisconsin where she continued to be a wonderful kid's riding pony. In 2024 the family needed to rehome her and she was sold to Hart's Island Pony Ranch. Lady had her first foal in 2025 sired by Cyclone II, a bay pinto filly named Lady's Beautiful Dreamer. Her second foal was born in 2026, a bay pinto colt.
