Beebe Ranch
3062 Ridge Road Home and 10.3 acres of Beebe Ranch that was previously owned by Ralph and Jeanette Beebe. It was the home of Misty from 1957 to her death in 1972. The property is owned by Museum of Chincoteague Island and is open for tours frequently. Visit the museum's website for availability. |

Misty's Hoofprints
4074 Main Street Misty's hoofprints and name are set in cement in the sidewalk directly in front of the entrance to the Island Theatre. Hoofprints were placed during the premier of the Misty movie on Chincoteague in 1961. Marguerite Henry wrote Misty's name. |

Approximately 4084 Main Street A bronze statue of Misty is located in downtown Chincoteague. Alongside Main Street in Robert Reed Waterfront Park. Next door to the Chincoteague Island Library. |

Miss Molly's Inn
4141 Main Street Marguerite Henry stayed at Miss Molly's Inn when she visited Chincoteague to write Misty of Chincoteague. It's been a Bed and Breakfast for many years. The room that she stayed in is a guest room called the Marguerite Henry Room. |

Burton's Seafood Ranch/Tom's Cove Park
8128 Beebe Road Burton's Ranch was a neighbor of Beebe Ranch and also raised ponies. Ponies used in the Misty movie were owned by the Burton's. Movie Phantom, baby Misty (Emma), and Black Comet lived in the barn that is now the Tom's Cover park country store. |

Channel Bass Inn
6228 Church Street In Marguerite Henry's book Misty's Twilight the Price family stayed at The Channel Bass Inn when they visited the island for Pony Penning. It's unknown if the real Price family stayed here. The non-local cast of the Misty movie stayed at the Channel Bass when on Chincoteague for filming. |
