1999 Chestnut Pinto Mare
Sire: Paint Horse
Dam: Misty's Twilight
Misty's Moon Shadow, nicknamed Peanut, is Misty's Twilight's last foal. She is a flashy frame overo pinto who was born and spent her life on Stolen Hours Farm with her famous dam. She is the only frame overo pinto in the Misty line. Peanut is a spunky mare who loves attention. She was named Moon Shadow because her face is almost half chestnut half white. Peanut also has one blue eye.
There were plans for Peanut to be bred so it is possible she has had foals. The Thoroughbred stallion Quaker Ridge was bred to a Paint mare related to Misty while he was standing in Florida and it is likely that mare was Moon Shadow. An article mentions a grey horse releated to Misty's Twilight visited an Ocala library, this may also be a foal of Peanut.
