March 23, 1983 Chestnut Pinto Filly Great Granddaughter of Misty Sire: Thunder or Cyclone Dam: Rainy Spring Rain's Pedigree Spring Rain was Rainy's first pinto offspring and third known daughter. Her sire was either her uncle Thunder or her cousin Cyclone, at that time the stallions were turned out with the mares on alternate days. She was sold at auction at four months old on July 26, 1983 by the Chincoteague Miniature Pony Farm in a special Diamond Jubilee Auction. The auction was written about in the Salisbury, Maryland newspaper. Spring Rain was sold for $625 to a Marvin Messick of Seaford, Delaware. No more is known about her.
