Storm Cloud was apparently Foggy Mist's first foal. He was photographed by a visitor to the Pony Farm in 1981. Her pictures and information about the colt are the only record of him. Storm Cloud has never been listed on any family trees or as one of Foggy Mist's offspring. There is a gap in the records of the Misty line from 1979 to 1984, when the information on foals was lost somewhere between the updated publication of the Pictorial Life Story of Misty. Storm Cloud is one of the "unknown" foals, and it is likely that he was sold as soon as he was weaned, as was done with several other foals.
