April 17, 1997 Buckskin Gelding Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: Lightning of Chincoteague Dam: Misty's Heat Wave Sunbeam's Pedigree Misty's Sunbeam, nicknamed Beamer, is Misty's Heat Wave's first foal. He is a beautifully conformed pony and Maureen Beebe said he was one of the best ponies she had seen. Sunbeam was born at the Allen farm in Pennsylvania. He has a very mellow temperament. Sunbeam made an appearence on Chincoteague as a foal in June 1997. Beamer spent a few summers at the Chincoteague Pony Centre and was sold to a family in 2003.
