July 15, 2010 Black Pinto Gelding Great Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: Tuffer Than Leather Dam: Misty's Hurricane Izzy Midnight Tempest's Pedigree Misty's Midnight Tempest is the second foal of Misty's Hurricane Izzy. He shares his sire's black pinto coat. Tempest appeared with his dam at the Chincoteague Pony Centre during the summer of 2010. Tempest was sold that summer to Becky Long-Chaney and her twin daughters. He was sold along with another son of his sire, Pippin. Tempest joined their family on Christmas Eve 2010 as a surprise gift to the girls while sporting a bow and reindeer antlers. Tempest returned to his birth herd briefly in 2015 before departing to a new home in Colorado. In his new home he has been trained to ride and even work cattle.
