Great Great Grandson of Misty Sire: NightmistDam: Gentle Breeze Nightmist Legend is one of the first foals of Nightmist and shares his sire's black pinto color. He had originally been named "Mountain Dew" for the Pepsi Company that sponsored Mike Pryor and his Nightmist tour. However when Nightmist died in 2009 the name was changed to Nightmist Legend to honor his sire. His barn name is still "Dewy". Dewy was trained under saddle. He also attended clinics by Tommie Turvey and learned tricks by the well known trick rider. Dewy appeared at Beebe Ranch during Pony Penning 2009. Nightmist Legend has been used as a stallion. He has sired a 2010 black pinto colt out of Chemina Mist, 2010 chestnut pinto gelding Blu Mist out of Misty 2000, 2011 black pinto colt Misty's Lunar Corona out of Island Princess, 2011 bay pinto gelding Misty's Crown Prince out of Island Jazz, 2011 chestnut pinto colt Misty's Relative Humidity out of Adam's Bruna, 2011 bay mare Misty's Stormy Bay out of Stormy Blue Devil, and a 2012 bay mare Misty's Legend of Atlantis out of Island Atlantis. Nightmist Legend has also sired half Haflinger Diesel and half Missouri Fox Trotter Nola. He has likely sired other foals.
