GM Sea Urchin's Sand Star, Sandy for short, was born on Assateague. She is sired by Gunner's Moon and is out of Sea Urchin. Sandy was bought in the auction by Wave Runner Chincoteague Ponies in Ohio. She was sold to Island Pony Dream Farm in Parma, Idaho in 2016. Sandy is the dam of a 2019 chestnut pinto gelding Apache and 2020 chestnut pinto mare Misty's Coffee both by Misty's Ice Storm.
