Misty's Sunfire is the second foal of Misty's May Day Twister and her first son. He was a vivid orange color when he was born but shed out to a beautiful palomino like his dam. Unlike his older sister Heart of the Storm Sunfire looks a great deal like his mother. His full brother is Misty's Stormy Eclipse. Sunfire has one blue eye like his aunt Misty's Heat Wave. He was broken to ride and spent several summers at the Chincoteague Pony Centre. Sunfire is a member of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team and lives with his pony family at Kerkaken Acres. Sunfire traveled with his half sister and the rest of the Drill Team to Kentucky Horse Park in August 2024 to perform. When not performing with the Drill Team he has competed successfully in eventing.
