Misty's Twister was Misty's Twilight's first foal and her sire is the pure polish Arabian stallion Arbitraz. She was a bay like her sire. Twister was much loved by Marguerite Henry for her beauty. She was first trained to ride by her owner's son Chris Price. Twister loved people and was briefly trained her dam's cutting horse trainer Buddy Pate. For a time it was thought she might make a cutting horse. Twister was sold to the Trowell family in 1987 alongside her half sister Misty's Mirage.
