MCC's Chincoteague Spice, nicknamed Ginger, is a bay pinto filly born at Midwest Chincoteague Connection in Wisconsin. She's Red Cloud's first foal and is a full sister to MCC's Duke. It was thought that her dam was bred to another stallion named Oso Blanco, but he couldn't sire a pinto like Ginger with her dam Maya. Red Cloud was a 2 year old at the time but apparently he met up with Maya as he was the only other colt on the farm at the time. Ginger was sold to a farm in Canada who intended to breed Chincoteagues. Circumstances changed and she was again offered for sale.
