Chincoteague's Wave Runner, nicknamed Desi, was born in Assateague and sold at the auction to Sue and Joe Lowery of Marysville, Ohio. Desi is sired by Miracle Man and out of Destiny's Feathering Spirit. Desi is a full brother to Star Sapphire, the dam of Misty's BlackOut and Misty's Black Mister. He lived with them for most of his life and was a stallion who sired multiple foals. Desi was sold to Island Pony Dream Farm in 2021. He's the sire of Misty's Baby Bubbles out of Misty's Mystic Sunrise. Desi passed away peacefully in fall 2023.
