Misty's Morning Glory is Black Mist's second foal and she inherited her mother's black pinto coat. She has one brown eye and one blue eye. Glory was a cute and frisky foal that grew into a beautiful and kind mare. She and her parents were the subject of the 2001 Pony Penning poster named Misty's Morning Glory by Kevin McBride. Glory and her dam are also a couple of ponies in the painting Cezanne's Legacy also by McBride. Glory has made Pony Penning week appearances at his art gallery, The Osprey Nest, on Chincoteague since she was a foal.
Glory appeared for many years at the Chincoteague Pony Centre, performing at the pony show and giving riding lessons. She is pictured alongside nine other Misty family members, including her dam, in the book Horses in Living Color by Barbara Livingston. During Pony Penning 2018 Glory appeared live on the Today Show on NBC. She lives at Kerkaken Acres with her family herd. Morning Glory is a longtime member of the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team. She traveled with her brother, nephew Misty's Thunderstorm, and the rest of the Drill Tem to Kentucky Horse Park to perform in August 2024.
