Hendrick's Shadow Dancer, Dan for short, is the first foal of Misty Moon Dancer. Shadow was born at Lowesden Stables in Illinois. He is a unique cross being sired by a Friesian stallion named Hendrik. He is a black pinto like his mother and has feathers on his legs like his father. Shadow was pictured with his dam in Out of the Sea: Today's Chincoteague Pony by Lois Szymanski. Shadow was inspected, registered, and branded as an American Warmblood in August 2006. Dan has a wonderful personality. He's lived with his family his entire life and is a beloved member of the family.
