Gusty was Misty II's first known foal. Very little is known about Gusty's life. She was listed in the family tree in the Pictorial Life Story of Misty and was advertised for sale on a 1978 Pony Farm flyer. There are only a few photos of Gusty. She was photographed by author and photographer Joesph R. Spies as a young foal. Friend of Misty's Heaven Deb Noll photographed Gusty as a weanling. Mugwah sired Foggy Mist and Raindrop in 1978 so it is likely he is also Gusty's sire.
