Island Jazz is a bay pinto mare bred by the Hagquist family of New York. She is the dam of 2010 bay pinto stallion Misty's Summer Rainstorm by Misty's Rainstorm and 2011 bay pinto gelding Misty's Crown Prince by Nightmist Legend. Jazz was sold to Kelly Lidard along with Summer Rainstorm while carrying Misty's Crown Prince. After her farm was damaged in Hurricane Sandy Misty's Crown Prince and Island Jazz were donated to the Chincoteague Pony Rescue. She was later adopted out to a new home. Island Jazz is the dam of several other non-Misty descendant foals.
