Misty's Perfect Storm, nicknamed Lighthouse, is the second foal of his dam Stormy Mist. He was born at Hawkeye Stables in Maryland and his sire is former feral stallion Tornado. He is a full brother to Misty's Tornado Warning. As a young pony Lighthouse was sold to the Jordan Family of Ohio where he lives with a herd of other Chincoteague Ponies.
