Misty's Heritage Turn of the Tide is a chestnut colt born at born at Misty's Heritage Chincoteague Ponies in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was the last foal by Misty's Stormy Eclipse born in Tennessee. He was a bit of a surprise as they thought his sire hadn't had time to breed Crack O' Dawn before he returned to his breeder in Virginia. The colt is a full brother to Misty's Heritage Tsunami Surf, Misty's Luna Mist, and Misty's Heritage Morning Dawn.
