Misty 2000 is a chestnut pinto mare born on Assateague. She was sired by the Maryland born stallion Cherokee Chief and out of a mare called Teague. Despite her name she's not a descendant of Misty, but she's the dam of several. Misty 2000 is the dam of 2010 chestnut pinto gelding Blu Mist sired by Sand Piper II. She had two fillies sired by Nightmist Legend, a 2013 chestnut pinto filly and a 2019 bay filly. She is also the dam of Mt Island Tempest who is the dam of Reagan's Tsunami Mist by Night Storm.
