Island Wildfire, nicknamed Pocomoke, was a palomino pinto stallion that Kendy Allen purchased at the 2001 Pony Penning auction when he was a foal. Something about him just appealed to her and he soon came to live on the Allens' farm in Virginia. Pocomoke's sire was the well known Tornado and he was out of the solid chestnut Sanddancer.
Pocomoke is the sire of 2005 chestnut pinto gelding Misty's Red Cloud out of Misty's Partly Cloudy, 2005 black pinto gelding Misty's Morning Sunrise out of Misty's Morning Glory, 2005 chestnut pinto mare Misty's Heart of the Storm out of Misty's MayDay Twister, and 2006 cremello mare Misty's Icicle out of Misty's Heat Wave.
