Nightstorm is one of Windjammer's foals and shares his black pinto coat. His dam's identity is not confirmed. It's said he is out of Rainy, but it is more likely he is out of Rain Cloud. He lived in Pennsylvania with other Misty family ponies owned by Mike Pryor. Nightstorm has been used as a stallion and is the known sire of 2010 chestnut pinto colt Phantom Rain out of Sunflower, 2010 chestnut pinto colt Chet out of Seamist, 2011 black pinto mare Misty's Night Rain out of Sierra Mist, 2011 chestnut pinto mare Misty's Snow Flurry out of Stormy II, and 2011 chestnut pinto filly Odemay out of Sea Storm.
